Puppy Socialising
Classes
Puppy classes are a great step towards preparing your puppy to be a well adjusted adult dog. Puppies learn to focus on their handlers in the presence of various distractions and temptations. We cover basic obedience, body handling and fun tricks using positive reinforcement. Compatible puppies can also participate in closely monitored off lead play. Human family members have an opportunity to discuss puppy related topics. Puppies should be under 4 months old and should start as soon as possible subject to vaccination requirements. Puppies within this age group are within their early socialisation window and are usually naturally curious and less likely to react to new experiences with fear or suspicion.

Behaviour
Consultations
This is for behavioural challenges linked to your dog’s emotional response to different situations. Examples include destructiveness, digging, separation related distress, reactive behaviour while on leash and fear of specific situations. The first step is to fill in a questionnaire followed by an in person consultation where the history and the context of your dog’s behavioural challenges are discussed and assessed. A written behaviour modification plan will be provided and further follow up sessions scheduled if required.
